GBE Founding Company Director & Producer

Dave always had a passion for movie making, and loved finding out where films were being made so he could "hang about" on the set. He's appeared in many films including "The Whistleblower" and "Champions", mainly as an extra. In 2006, he co-produced/directed a short film, "Waters End", which was very well received. In 2010 he heard the Louisa lifeboat story, which started 5 years of research. After raising funds, a screenplay was commissioned and the feature animation "Louisa: An Amazing Adventure" commenced production. It is due for release in Autumn 2018.

Russell has spent time in front of the camera as a presenter, voice over artist and actor. He studied Method Acting at the Brian Timoney school in London. He also writes and produces. Having had successful business careers in computing and hospitality, he has joined the GBE team to pursue his life long ambition of film making. He has a track record of delivering projects to time and budget, and brings his knowledge to the team.
